Delete your account and data

This is how you delete your Seigut app account and all data linked to it. You can do this at any time, free of charge.

In the app

1. Open the «Profile» tab in Seigut.
2. Choose «Delete account and data».
3. Type the word «delete» to confirm.

If you have an account with e-mail, Apple or Google, you need to sign in again first. Afterwards you start with an empty profile.

By e-mail

Write to daniele@seigut.ch with the subject «Delete my data». Tell us the e-mail address of your account, or whether you sign in with Apple or Google. We delete your account within 30 days and confirm it by e-mail. If you use the app without an account, your data is only linked to you by a random user ID; in that case the easiest way is to delete it directly in the app.

What is deleted

• Your account and your user ID.
• Your challenges, points, levels and bookmarks.
• Your settings in the app.

What remains

• Shared challenges: so that links you sent keep working, one entry per shared challenge remains, with the challenge, the time and your former user ID. It is then not linked to any other data. We delete these entries too on request.
• Anonymous crash reports without any link to your account.
• Backups: your data may remain in them for up to 30 days before it is overwritten.
